Led by trusted experts in palliative care, end-of-life planning, grief and bereavement, aging well, dementia care, and related fields, each session combines research-based knowledge with hands-on, practical guidance.
Through interactive exercises, reflective prompts, and group discussions, participants gain tools they can apply immediately in professional care settings, within families, and in communities. Whether you’re expanding professional expertise or seeking deeper personal understanding, these workshops provide clarity, confidence, and compassion to navigate life’s transitions.

Transformational Grief Workshop Series
Facilitated by: Laing Rikkers and Lori Krause
A powerful three-part workshop series designed to help transform grief into hope and resilience.
Led by Lori Krause, grief specialist, and Laing Rikkers, author of the award-winning book Morning Leaves: Reflections on Loss, Grief, and Connection, these series explore the healing power of nature, art, and connection.
Together, we’ll listen to and write poetry, create expressive art, and engage in meaningful group discussions that foster reflection and renewal.

Caring for someone with dementia can feel like living in a constant state of uncertainty. The rules keep changing. The questions keep coming. And many care partners are quietly carrying the emotional and logistical weight on their own.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, unsure what comes next, or uncertain how to support those you care for and yourself, this workshop was created for you.
