Dementia Care Partner Workshop
From Overwhelmed to Empowered: Creating Your Dementia Care Support Plan
A compassionate online workshop designed for dementia care partners navigating uncertainty—offering practical guidance, emotional support, and a clearer path forward.
Caring for someone with dementia can feel like living in a constant state of uncertainty. The rules keep changing. The questions keep coming. And many care partners are quietly carrying the emotional and logistical weight on their own.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, unsure what comes next, or uncertain how to support those you care for and yourself, this workshop was created for you.

A Clearer Way Forward for Dementia Care Partners
It’s important to remember that “overwhelmed” is not a failure—it’s a natural response to caregiving in a system that rarely offers clarity or comprehensive support.
This workshop is designed to help you move:
From reacting → to planning
From isolation → to supported care
From uncertainty → to clarity and confidence
Every dementia journey is different. This workshop is not about having all the answers.
It’s about creating agency, understanding your options, and building a support plan that reflects what matters most to you and those you care for.
What Makes This Workshop Different
This is not a generic caregiving class; it is a guided, compassionate experience led by Lori Krause, End of Life, Grief, and Dementia Doula. It blends:
- Practical guidance grounded in real-life dementia care
- Emotional support for the grief, stress, and ambiguity that caregivers and partners face
- Gentle reflection to help you identify what’s truly important
- Actionable planning so you leave with something concrete—not just information.
You will be supported in beginning a personalized Dementia Care Support Plan—a living framework you can return to as needs evolve.

Who This Workshop Is For
This workshop offers both grounding and guidance—supporting you emotionally while helping you take practical next steps no matter where you are on your journey. It’s designed for:
- Dementia care partners who feel overwhelmed or unsure where to start.
- Family members and loved ones supporting someone with dementia.
- Those early in the dementia journey who want to plan with intention
- Individuals who wish to participate alongside a loved one as they navigate the early stages of dementia.
Care partners often wait until a crisis — when exhaustion and overwhelm are already high to seek support.
This workshop is here to change that by giving you a chance to:
- Pause and reflect before things feel unmanageable.
- Gain clarity without pressure or urgency.
- Connect with others who truly understand the caregiving experience.
- Leave with a plan rather than more questions.
We believe support doesn’t have to wait—and you shouldn’t have to do this alone. This workshop gives you a supported starting point, guided by someone who understands both the challenges and the heart of dementia care.
